Dan is the former Executive Vice President and Chief Stakeholder Officer of the San Francisco Travel Association (formerly the San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau). During his 15 years there, he:

• led a major organizational change initiative 

• developed a comprehensive restructure of the membership program 

• oversaw the membership, board relations, public relations, community relations, and education functions

• contributed governance and membership documents to the member resource center at ASAE - The Center for Association Leadership

 

Dan has served on the boards of directors of the California Travel Association, American Society for Training & Development Golden Gate Chapter, and Northern California Society of Association Executives, and chaired the Northern California Network of ASAE - The Center for Association Leadership. He served on the advisory boards of both the San Francisco State University and University of San Francisco hospitality management programs.

 

Dan is a graduate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management, the Coro Foundation City Focus program, and the U.C. Berkeley Extension Human Resources Training & Development Certificate program.
